Wedding Party Dance: The Wedding Party Dance is a great way of introducing guests to the dance floor in '3 stages' during the song. By this method, the bride and groom are asked to stay on the floor following the First Dance and/or father/daughter dances, and the parents and wedding party are asked to join them as the Wedding Party Dance starts (Stage 1). Then, in one or two minute successions, groups are requested to join in on the dance floor, starting with the relatives of the bride and groom (Stage 2), then finally, all friends of the bride and groom that are in attendance (Stage 3). A song such as Spandau Ballet-True works very well for this and is successful in getting a majority of the people at the reception to start dancing. In the alternative, a solo dance can be provided for the wedding party, and relatives/friends can be introduced in a separate song following the solo wedding party dance. Would you perfer a solo dance for the wedding party or the '3-stage' bridal party song (recommended)?
