- Simi Valley Tournament Simi Valley Tournament is always a favorite of mine. It is a very well run tournament with great competition. Our team did very well -- outscoring our opponents 14-5. Unfortunately, like the Gold Rush tourney, we fell one goal short of making it to the finals. It would have been fun to meet up with the Ventura Team C in the Semi Final. But it was a great weekend. We had a lot of fun, learned a lot, and have further prepared ourselves for the real All Star Tournament coming up in just 3 weeks. Thanks to our great team for all the effort they put in. We also wish Logan a speedy recovery who was really sick this week. Orange Crush to all team members at the next practice (tomorrow -- Monday).
- Shutterfly Site: As you've noticed, most of our team updates are to the Shuterfly account this year. Seems to automate things. I want to thank all the parents who have added pictures. Some great stuff being posted on the site! I hope you share them with your players!
- Practice: Practice this week will be on Monday and Thursday mornings, 9:30-11:30.
- Fountain Valley Tournament: Final preparations are being made for the FVT this weekend. I'm hoping we can confirm all our hotel reservations. Please keep me in the loop on that. Thanks! The competition should be pretty fierce there. It will be a good last preparation for the All Star Tournament.
