WAIT!!!

Before you go to the Oracle Store,
you need to know a few things
which are unclear or incorrect on their site:

Price of personal edition is $39.95 (not free)
This is the complete program and consists of 37 CDs!
Shipping adds $9-$14
You will first be given a choice between operating systems. Your choices are: Win NT. Only. That's right...just NT. If you do not select the one choice provided, it will prompt you to make a choice between NT or nothing. Then you get another window that asks you to choose between Win NT and Win NT/2000. These choices indicate versions Oracle 8.1.6 and 8.1.7. Win 98 users should select 8.1.6 (there is no indication which version is for Win 98 users but phone support confirmed)
On-line order confirmation indicates you will receive email confirmation. You will. But you will probably receive the product by mail prior to the email confirmation that appears to be batch processed on the weekend. Be sure to print out your confirmation number.
Trial license is for 30 days only! Then you are suppose to call back and pay for 2yr, 4yr or perpetual licenses. Please note: software will continue to operate.
